For many self-represented individuals, a brief conversation can help clarify the process and ensure you understand the services available before moving forward. During this call, we can discuss your situation, review available services, explain the document preparation process, and answer general questions about what information may be needed to complete your requested documents. This consultation is designed to help you understand the process and determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs before any paperwork is prepared. Please note: Your Notary and More is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or recommendations regarding legal rights, remedies, defenses, or strategies.
Cancellation Policy
At Your Notary and More, we strive to provide a smooth, supportive, and professional experience. Many services involve scheduling, preparation time, travel, and administrative work completed before your appointment. Please review the policy below. 1. Cancellations & Rescheduling Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 1 hour before the scheduled appointment time without penalty. Requests made less than 1 hour before the appointment may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid. 2. Deposits & No-Shows Deposits are non-refundable and applied toward your scheduled service. Clients who fail to attend without notice (no-show) will forfeit any deposit paid. Missed appointments, late cancellations, or repeated rescheduling may require a new deposit before future booking. 3. Administrative Preparation & Custom Services Some services require work before the appointment, including: Document preparation Self-represented (pro se) support Administrative assistance File organization Intake review Custom requests Time already spent preparing documents, organizing information, or performing requested work is non-refundable, even if services are later cancelled. 4. Mobile Appointments & Travel For mobile services, travel fees may apply. If travel has started or arrival has occurred before cancellation, travel fees already incurred are non-refundable. 5. Late Arrivals Late arrivals may result in reduced appointment time, rescheduling, or cancellation based on availability. 6. Company Cancellations If Your Notary and More cancels or reschedules, clients will receive either: • A full refund of amounts paid, or • Free rescheduling 7. Emergencies Emergencies, illness, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances may be exempt from penalties and reviewed case-by-case.
